Angling Clinic for Ofmer Network Anglers (Northern Chapter)

Fellow ONA members,
Following the success of the last Angling Clinic in Miri, Sarawak; we are pleased to announce that we are conducting another free Angling Clinic for ONA members of the Northern Chapter. Details as follows:

Conducting the seminar would be Major Ismail Feisol who would be assisted by Mr Simon Lee, En Mohd Noor and En Muskin.The seminar would cover the following topics:

Part One

a.    Fish Reaction and Perception

b.    Types of lure and their usage

c.    Lure Action.

d.    Difference between Japanese Lure  and Conventional Lure

e.    Choosing the Right Equipment

f.           Retrieval Technique and Casting Techniques (Theory)

There would also be a Question and Answer session for attendees to pose enquiries to 

our facilitators.

Part Two would be Hands-on demonstration on;

a.    Casting Technique

b.    Retrieval Technique

The Ofmer Network Anglers would be officially launched on November 5, 2010 at the Rod & Line Angling and Outdoor Fair. Make yourself available at the stage area at 3.00 pm to witness and celebrate this momentus occasion .

All are invited .Goodies would be made available for lucky attendees!

Fishing Seminar

Ofmer Network Anglers are invited to attend a Fishing Seminar on October 23, 2010 at the Dewan Sivik Miri, Miri, Sarawak. The seminar would be conducted by Mejor Ismail Feisol and would be assisted by Mr Simon Lee, En Mohd. Noor and En Muskin.

The seminar is divided into two parts, Part One being theory and would encompass Understanding Lures, Equipment and Techniques of Lure Fishing.

a.    Fish reaction and perception
b.   Types of lures and their usage
c.    Lure action
d.   Difference between Japanese and conventional lures
e.   Choosing the correct equipment

There would also be a Q & A session for attendees to post queries to our facilitators.

Part Two would be hands-on demonstrations on:

Welcome fellow anglers!

Ofmer Network Anglers is an established network linking all participating anglers in Malaysia to change the Malaysian sports fishing scene. With your participation and our contributions, we hope to make the Malaysian angler a thinking angler with full knowledge of the equipment and techniques used, fish fighting techniques, fish locating techniques, fisheries conservation, etc.

Essential knowledge to provide the advantage to the angler in acquiring his or her trophy fish and in doing so realising his or her dream of a personal record.

Ofmer Network Anglers would also be initiating a privilege program in which members would be given special privileges in testing and acquiring Ofmer products before official launchings! Fishing trips, both local and abroad would be organised for Ofmer Network Anglers to develop camaraderie among members with the Ofmer Network Anglers pros on hand to guide the inexperienced.

Not forgetting the Ofmer Network Angler's immediate family members and kin, they would also be included in our various family orientated programs to make the Ofmer Network Angler's family a bigger and happier one!

With your participation and our organisation, we cannot fail in elevating the sportsfishing scene in Malaysia to a whole new level.
